Swar operates out of a sprawling 10,000 sq. ft, state-of-the-art workshop located in Mumbai. Over 200 artisans work round the clock to carefully craft your jewellery. Swar believes that happy employees make for happy customers and hence places the utmost importance on maintaining a healthy work environment for the artisans and wholeheartedly assures fair labour practices in the workplace.
Swar is a proud employer of a team of immensely talented and professionally trained artisans, setters, soldiers, jewellery designers, sales and customer service representatives.
The designers use software tools like CAD to design each piece of jewellery. Their designs are brought to life with cutting edge 3-D printers which are used to print the prototype for the actual mould. After the mould is prepared from the prototype, gold is poured into it. Through a complex and intricately designed process, a “tree” of desired shapes in obtained from the raw material. Apart from these, some commonly used shapes are cast using pre-made dies. All of these components are then collected and sent to the assembly bench where different parts are soldered together by hand. Finer sections are soldered and intricate designs are carved using laser techonology. After the pieces have been assembled according to their design, they are sent to the polishing department for further fine-tuning. Rough edges are rounded off to maintain the lustre of the piece and textures like satin, dull, diamond dull, etc. are given to the jewellery by skilled artisans. Rotating drums are also employed to polish and smoothen out the pieces. The finished pieces are put through a process that is colloquially called “chatka”. The pieces are treated with sulphuric acid to help regain its original shine and colour. The finished pieces are sent to the QC and Packing division where all the pieces are thoroughly scrutinised and any pieces with imperfections are sent for reworking.

How are your orders managed and taken?
We have a professional team of Sales and CRM members who coordinate with the administrative group that manage the daily process of manufacturing and delivering Swar products to our loyal and wonderful clients
Our clients will first take look at our updated products from the tablets that are exclusively given to them.
Orders are customized and then sent to our CRM team via email.
CRM team then will coordinates with the client, give them timeline, take detailed instructions, and continuously follow up between clients and administrative staff to make sure orders are fulfilled correctly.
Once an order has been completed, CRM team will update the client and let them know when exactly they can expect delivery. If it is an out station client then the order is delivered through Sequel.
